John Niven is the author of the explosive new book Kill Your Friends, a sex-and-drug-fueled fictional account of the music industry in Britain during 1997, written from the perspective of a talent scout for a major record label. Apparently based on truth, the book has already gained the respect of critics and has become something of a cult hit.
