| WMC Track: DKS ‘That’s Jazz’!’ Posted: 16 Mar 2009 06:50 AM PDT Every year the arrival of WMC seems to be acknowledged by a thunderous downpour of cheap-for-kicks bootlegs, but amongst the mash-ups and scratch downs there are always a few that manage to bring something new to the famous originals that they're based upon. Sacrilege to Chicago house fans that were partying back in '93 this may be, but somehow DKS' 'That's Jazz!' (track no.8 in the player) manages to update Dajaé and Cajmere's defining jazzy house record 'U Got Me Up' without completely ruining its legacy. |

| Bomb Alert! Cevin Fischer ‘The Freaks Come Out’ new remixes Posted: 15 Mar 2009 04:12 PM PDT Bomb Alert! Cevin Fischer's defining late 90s house anthem 'The Freaks Come Out' is set for a double dose of new remixes this spring/summer, 10 years after the track conquered clubland the world over. Reworkings by Anil Chawla, Tim Davidson and Eric Entrena are included in Part 1 of the 10th anniversary mixes, but the real jewel comes from fast-rising Brighton-based house producers Prok & Fitch, who've turned in one of their mixes to date.
