Top 10 DJ Chart - John Digweed

It is always interesting to hear where John Digweed is at musically, as the British superstar jock has somehow managed to maintain his core sound and stay on the fringes of dark club music, without ever jumping on any passing bandwagons. There are only a handful of DJs who have been doing it for 20 years now that still sound fresh today, and as you'll hear from his chart after the jump, Digweed is definitely one of them.

New Skank EP - Wbeeza

The sophisticated deep house grooves on 'New Skank EP' are not ones you'd normally associate with Bermondsey, South London, which is home to the hardest football fans that ever lived (Miiiillwaaaallll). Video: The origins of the Roland TB-303 bassline

Here is a video documentary about the Roland TB-303 bassline, a synthesizer with a built-in sequencer that was manufactured by the Roland corporation in 1982. It had a defining role in the development of electronic music and was used extensively by producers of acid, house, trance, techno and drum & bass, and its distinctive sound still dominates the electronic music scene today.
