Composer submits 70,200 forms to German RIAA

Posted: 14 Nov 2008 07:14 AM CST

Applying old copyright law in the digital world is like forcing people to put a stamp on every email they send. New searches for New York’s clubs

Posted: 13 Nov 2008 12:43 PM CST

On Friday June 27th 2008, something changed in New York City. In the space of just 24 hours, 11 nightclubs and bars were raided by police and forced to close, seven in Manhattan and four in Brooklyn. The timing couldn't have been worse for Pacha, Marquee, Splash and the other shuttered venues - Gay Pride weekend was taking place, typically one of the busiest weekends of the year for New York's clubs.
