| News | Melt Festival – Berlin Calling Posted: 20 Jul 2008 06:00 PM CDT Last year’s MELT festival nearly 1.5 hours outside of Berlin in Ferropolis drew approximately 16 000 people. This year that number of people is hoped for, although its hard to tell with the fluctuating weather of sun and rain and mud that tends to keep people hiding in tents rather than in the open air stages. Beatport arrived eagerly late last night to the 4-staged Melt festival, after catching up with BPitch artist Paul Kalkbrenner and catching a peek at the trailer for the new film he stars in called Berlin Calling.
