In 1999 trance was at its peak in the UK and much of Europe, and Dutch trance duo Rank 1 became huge sensations overnight thanks to their club smash 'Airwave' which was caned by all the big trance DJs. News | Interview: Alexi Delano at Fabric

Posted: 13 Jul 2008 02:04 AM CDT

Fabric Nightclub last Saturday night in London was fantastic. People filled the dark rooms as they normally do, and techno sounds were heard throughout. It was a purely physical as well as ear-throbbing experience. Room one featured Craig Richards, Ivan Smagghe, Heidi, and Lopazz Live who were quite good and had people dancing as well as watching the stage during their set. Room two featured Terry Francis, Adultnapper, and Alexi Delano. And in the smaller room three Hippie and Halo and Dave Jones DJ’d. The number of American artists on the bill was astounding. Alexi Delano has just had a collaborative release, Machine Run EP with Tony Rohr for Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label. After his killer set, Beatportal caught up with Alexi Delano to hear about his recent news.
