In his post, Luca reveals how Steve Lawler has renamed Audiofly Ant & Dec (well known TV presenters from the UK) and how he's being bullied by everybody, in good sport. Here's Luca's snapshot. |

| Posted: 25 Oct 2008 01:42 AM CDT The Viva Tour is well underway, and when I join Steve Lawler, Audiofly and Tiefschwarz on their tour bus on Sunday hopefully I'll be able to document some of funny things going on and some of the excellent music that's being played. I'll be blogging live from the Viva Tour bus from Sunday October 26th - Friday 31st October taking in San Francisco, Albuquerque and Dallas as well as countless small towns and freeways, but ahead of that the boys have been sending over their videos which, quite rightly, reveal them to be teetering on the verge of insanity. In one of them, it's revealed that the boys went to a gun store and played around with shotguns and ridiculously large magnums as part of their 'discovery' of the ole' USA. Anyway, try understanding these three videos, if you can. Next week looks like it'll be a lot of fun. |

GForce has an update for their popular M-Tron virtual Mellotron tape-based sampler. SoundCloud is doing some very interesting licensing stuff. And of course, there’s a new iPhone app (pictured above). |
| Hand your demos to Pete Tong tonight! Posted: 24 Oct 2008 08:34 PM CDT Pete Tong is currently on tour in North America, and being the ambassador of dance music that he is, he's running his very own Simon Cowell-type talent search called Tong Factor. The concept is simple enough - come down to one of his gigs in the next couple of weeks and hand him your demos on a CD or USB stick. Pete will then listen to every single demo submitted to him, and he'll release the best ones on a brand new digital label on Beatport after his tour. Where is Pete Tong playing tonight? Read on to find out! |
