Following the success of last year's widely acclaimed comeback album, 'Last Days of Silence', seminal UK techno duo B12 now plan to make their rare back catalogue available digitally and on CD. The 98 track 'Archive' series includes every track released on B12 Records between 1990 and 2007, including every limited edition vinyl and bonus CD, plus 27 previously unreleased cuts from the vaults.

News | Misstress Barbara’s Live ‘I’m No Human’ Tour

Last weekend in Toronto Misstress Barbara performed one of the first live performances to showcase the work from her upcoming artist album entitled ‘I’m No Human’ which will be properly released in 2009. Her live performance at 'This is London' featured the band she created to tour with her to play the songs off her new album. On stage, Misstress Barbara did the vocals and programming, and her new band mates pitched in. Mathieu Brault was on bass guitar, and Matai Dubus was on keyboards. Even as a DJ, Misstress Barbara had a strong almost theatrical stage presence. Her energy levels are high and as a singer she was no less intense than would be expected.

This week, Universal Audio steps up to the plate with a Moog-approved multimode filter plug-in for their UAD DSP card platform. This is sure to raise a few eyebrows, especially considering that countless producers have purchased Moog’s Little Phatty for the express purpose of using its filter to process other sounds. Thus, a software version could be a tremendous value, especially combined with the outstanding effects that are already bundled with the UAD.
