News | “And the winner is…” Ibiza Music Award winners announced

The 11th annual Ibiza DJ awards were held yesterday at Pacha Ibiza and the results are in. The DJ Awards is a way of honoring and celebrating of the myriad contributions DJs, producers and industry people make every day to create the thriving international electronic music community, and the Kryptonite award is a token of that gratitude. Beatport was pleased to have the "Outstanding Contribution" in the Special Awards category awarded to our CEO, Jonas Tempel, and extends thanks to everyone involved. The track features a floaty, pan-pipe lead line, whilst a driving drum loop kicks clean and fast. This is an uptempo chunky tech house number that will act as a perfect bridge between slower more minimal music, and funkier house beats.
