News | Legendary drum and bass label to release dubstep

Ram Records, one of the longest running labels in drum & bass, initially set up by Andy C and Ant Miles, will release its first ever dubstep release next month. The legendary Ram has been behind some of the biggest hits within the scene, including ‘Body Rock’, the massive collaboration between Shimon & Andy C, as well as Origin Unknown’s “Valley of the Shadows”.

Brummie boy Will Bailey has been churning them out for a few years now, but it’s in the last year he’s really started coming into his own. His inventive productions mix up grotty electro house with touches of minimal techno, and a wide array of big, naughty noises. A producer and DJ with immense talent, a massive will to succeed and a presence behind that decks that is a sight to be seen, he has been on a worldwide mission to rock dancefloors since the 2003. With an incredibly impressive discography of 30+ recordings already and a DJ diary that takes him from his studio near Birmingham to clubs all over the world, including Privilege (Ibiza), Ministry of Sound (London), Godskitchen (Birmingham), Club Bon Bon (Shanghi) Soma (San Francisco) and Famous (Australia), it would seem that Will is well on the way to achieving his goals. Under his guise of Rudi Stakker, Will continues to grow as an artist, producing more tracks on a slightly deeper tip such as ‘Stakker’ ‘Pitch Fork’ and ‘Chime’ that have seen praise and support come from Chris Lake, Steve Angello, Pete Tong, Jon Gurd, Filthy Rich, Meat Katie, Mixin Marc, and Jelo to name but a few.
