| News | Former Coburn member Tim Healey reveals his new solo project Posted: 18 Sep 2008 09:02 PM CDT Tim Healey is most well known for his electro-fuelled house music and notorious bootlegs under a number of different aliases, often with his co-producer Pete Martin, under the name Coburn. Coburn hit it big in 2005 with their release of 'We Interrupt This Program' on Great Stuff Recordings as well as Data Records. After a run of great singles, remixes and a Coburn album in 2007, Tim’s now back in the studio taking on a new project going head-to-head with a slew of different producers for his 'Tim Healey vs' concept. One of his first releases, 'Turn Me On' with fellow producer Richard Kegg is due out on InStereo Recordings September 18th. |

No. Posted: 18 Sep 2008 01:43 PM CDT This Saturday, Prime nightclub at 511 West 28th St in New York will reopen as a "high energy dance club" and an announcement this morning is claiming that the new Prime represents the end of bottle service in NYC. That sounds exciting. But then we read between the lines, and realised that Prime is far from creating "a new and novel approach" to nightlife in the city, and they haven't gone nearly far enough. |

| News | Minitek organizers apologize Posted: 18 Sep 2008 12:23 AM CDT Last weekend's New York festival Minitek apparently went down with a few snares, leaving festival goers feeling perhaps a little used and abused. According to a letter of public apology on their website, they state "...we take the blame for those [mistakes on our end] but we do hope that you understand that most chaos was caused by the night venue’s misrepresentation, which - straightout- f***ed us over, collected ten thousands of dollars from us and left us stranded. "The disappointment of the many people that couldn’t enter that night make us feel beyond miserable…" |
