| News | Milosh set to release third album Posted: 16 Aug 2008 06:58 PM CDT Master of melancholy, Milosh hovers between worlds as a classically trained musician and an electronic shapeshifter, and is about to unleash his third full-length album, 'iii' due out on !K7 on September 23rd. 'iii' is a snapshot Milosh worked out on a visit to the lush tropical paradise of Thailand's Koh Samui, so perhaps the mood on this release will be a bit brighter than the rainy-day poignant sense of fragility that tend to characterize the atmosphere of his other releases. Click through for a tracklisting which, from the titles, sounds like it could be almost cheerfully bright (aside from track 1, that is...). |

| News | An Evil Interview with Evil Nine Posted: 16 Aug 2008 12:52 AM CDT Evil Nine crash-landed onto the modern dance scene like an alien asteroid hitting a 20th century urban city at the turn of the century. Immediately finding their way onto Adam Freeland’s electro chic, then breakbeat label, Marine Parade infected the breaks scene with their contagious, raw-sounding breaks like a virus infecting a densely populated area. The dance community was instantly turned towards their characteristic sounds of live drums, hip-hop vocals, and dirty gain-driven bass guitars. The world as we know it was about to change. |
