| News | Ibiza clubbers protest on the street Posted: 05 Aug 2008 01:25 PM CDT Last night at about 7.30pm the roads came to a standstill in the centre of Ibiza, Spain but not because of the usual high volume of August tourist traffic. It was the 400 or so protesters sitting in the middle of Vara de Rey street in Ibiza Town that caused the tail back. "Libertad! Libertad! Libertad!" they shouted, which is Spanish for 'freedom'.
