Wonky tech house doesn't get much better than Falko Brocksieper's 'Lament' which wobbles along with fine panache thanks to its sexy bassline and weird lead synth. A little bit of release here, a smidgen of reverb there and you're in tech house heaven. The track comes from Falko Brocksieper's LP 'Heavy Day' which was released back in May, but 'Lament' has serious staying power as Jay Haze recently charted it at No.1 on Beatport.

News | Interview: Gregor Tresher and his ‘Break New Soil’ release

After the release of his highly acclaimed full length album “A Thousand Nights” last year, Gregor Tresher has been hard at work to produce a few more great tracks this year. Among them was his remix of 'Flight Schedule' for Dubfire’s Sci+Tec label, and his latest excellent original production called 'Break New Soil' out on the Leipzig-based label Moon Harbour, which has also been turning ears. 'Break New Soil' is deep and minimal and builds nicely with really intricate rhythms well suited to getting a momentum going.

"Tommy Lee?!" you might ask incredulously. Yup, you read right -- that Tommy Lee, replete in all his Mötley Crüe-ness -- has teamed up with DJ Aero to create an "Electro Mayhem" chart full o' madness, and it includes the likes of Cirez D and Daniele Papini, at that. Actually, he has been a big supporter of electronic music for quite some time now, having incorporated loops of Josh Wink's 'Higher State of Consciousness' into his drum solos while on tour with "the Crüe" way back in 1998, as well as having indulged in several other little-known tidbits of DJ proclivities.
